Marlborough Global Bond has again been named Best Global Bond Fund in the Money Observer Fund Awards – the fifth time it has earned the title in the past six years.
The awards are based on risk-adjusted returns over three years and the judging panel were impressed by the diversified nature and conservative approach of the fund.
Managers Geoff Hitchin and Nicholas Cooling take a cautious approach, seeking to capture upside while protecting against the effects when markets fall.
They take full advantage of the fund’s global remit, investing in a portfolio of more than 400 bonds, diversified by country and region, credit rating and duration.
